1981- 2016 :. Pre-purchase home and building inspections also litigation support. Inspecting 1-4 family residential and commercial buildings from 1500 to 1,500,000 square feet. Court qualified as a home inspection, premises liability. Construction and cost expert in Barnstable Superior, Worcester Superior, Suffolk Superior, Middlesex Superior, Plymouth Superior, Essex Superior, Bristol Superior, Hamden Superior, and Norfolk Superior and district courts.

1990- Present: Member American Society of Home Inspectors. One of the many requirements to maintain membership is to attain a minimum 20 hours of continuing education annually.

1990 — Present :Unrestricted Construction Supervisor Com. of MA

1990 through 1997 National large scale commercial inspections, for REITS, Pension funds and Investment Groups. Mixed use, shopping malls, congregate care facilities, storage facilities, hotel and motel properties, and Manufacturing facilities.

2001- Present Licensed Home Inspector Com. of MA #223( inception of licensing)

2001 — Present: Certificated for Continuing Education, by the MA Board of Home Inspectors. I continue to provide education to home inspectors and builders.

2001- 2003 : President of New England Chapter of ASHI, Responsible for Statehouse testimony on home inspector regulations, Formulating budgets, public appearances and worked to increase the membership from 56 to 130 active members.

2003-2004 : National Membership Chairman for the American Society of Home Inspectors. Directly responsible for membership retention, a 5 year membership plan, strategic planning for the organization and membership growth.

2003-Present: Fee paid independent Investigator for the Office of Prosecution Commonwealth of MA, investigating and testifying in home inspector complaints.

2003-2006 Subject matter expert on construction and related defects for the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors.

2005 -2008 : I was an appointed Technical Committee Member for the American Society of Home Inspectors. Authored and published internationally three articles. We performed a editorial review of each pending article for accuracy, authenticity and technical expertise.

2006- 2011: A working board member for the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors serving a 6-year term. In 2007 elected the treasurer with direct responsibility for investments, finances, short and long term financial stability of a Not for Profit corporation. Brought the organization back to solvency from teetering into bankruptcy. Past International Board President

2010- 2012 Member of ASHI chapter relations committee: responsible for Chapter leaders training, membership recruitment and retention.

2010- 2013: Adjunct Professor at Salem State University teaching students how to be a home inspector, and defect recognition. Core material Egress, Grading, Structure, HVAC, Electrical, Framing, Roofs , Standards of Practice, Ethics, Masonry ,Plumbing, Intense classroom and fieldwork required to pass the 90 hr. class.

2011 Invited expert , testified to the Texas Legislature regarding home inspector competency ,testing and responsibility. Austin ,TX,

2011 & 2012 Provide continuing education to senior ASHI Members at Chapter Leadership Day 16 hr. training event.

2012 Member Federal Legislative Task Force focusing on Insurance Industry and Banks physical exposure and property maintenance of houses with mortgages..

2013 Through 2016: Chairman ASHI Federal Legislation Committee: Responsible for monitoring , testifying and sifting through federal legislation as it effects the Home Inspection Profession and ASHI. Prepared to provide factual evidence to Congress regarding changes in current and proposed federal legislation.
